The 8th graders are finally blogging!

The 8th graders have been working on their blogs for the past few months.  They started the Student Blogging Challenge in October and have slowly worked their way to publishing their first posts and comment guidelines.

The students would love comments!  I have 2 classes of 8th graders, so there are over 50 blogs.  Please spread the word so the students will have comments to read and reply.

Some students still need to turn in their blog addresses to me in Edmodo.  When they do, I will update this post:

  1. Wow, so many blogs to look at!
We'll try to pay a visit to each one of you because we'd love to connect and get to know each other better.
Blogging is an excellent opportunity to communicate and share thoughts and ideas with the world and you have made a wonderful job!
I know it takes time to build and feed because We too are new in the world of blogging.
In fact, some of our class blogs are still cooking!
    Well done everyone!

  2. I am so impressed with what you are doing. I would love to do this with my language arts classes. How much time a week do you have with your students?
I teach at St. Joseph school in Round Lake, Illinois. We really aren't that far away from each other!

    1. The students come once a week. I use Edmodo to keep them up to date on their "tasks". We aren't that far away! Would love to connect!
